Hello! My name is Scott.

Welcome to my blog.

I'm an IT guy who wears many hats,

I currently live within the Victoria region, and working as a contractor.

I specialised within the cybersecurity space to help configure and setup applications, including making ETL pipelines to make that data useful to other people. More recently, I've been finding myself to venture more out to the wider space of tech.

Some of the things I usually work on:

Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Infrastructure as code (Terraform)

Automation Tools (Ansible)

I made this blog to help share my thoughts and experiences in hoping that it can help others out in the future. Or at least give something enjoyable to read when passing the time on the train or learning something new.

I spend most of my time learning new tech so that I can automate things and and find ways to make things better.
